NIL Plus Group Clients Recap: Oct 19–Oct 25, 2026
Indiana setter Teodora Kričković headlines our week with 77 assists across two Big Ten matches, including 38 in a road sweep at Ohio State, and is our Performer of the Week. On the basketball side, the exhibition season wrapped up for several of our athletes, with Noa Zemljić hitting the shot that gave UMass its biggest lead in a win at Harvard and Maruan Čičić starting for UW-Green Bay in a win over Illinois State.
Performer of the Week: Teodora Kričković — Indiana University
Kričković ran the Hoosiers' offense through a demanding Big Ten road-and-home week. On Friday, October 23, No. 18 Indiana swept Ohio State 3–0 (25–23, 25–23, 25–18) at the Covelli Center in Columbus, with Kričković distributing 38 assists in just three sets and adding 7 digs, 2 kills, an ace and 2 block assists. The Hoosiers' recap called it back-to-back Big Ten road sweeps.
On Sunday, October 25, she followed with 39 assists and 7 digs against No. 16 Penn State at Wilkinson Hall, where Indiana took the second set 25–22 before falling in four. For the week she totaled 77 assists, 14 digs, 3 kills, an ace and 1.5 blocks. Kričković entered the week 139 assists short of 2,000 for her career, a mark only 11 players in program history have reached, and she is now closing in fast.

Noa Zemljić — UMass
UMass closed its exhibition slate unbeaten with an 82–74 win at Harvard on Friday, October 23, and Zemljić delivered one of the night's key moments. He scored 5 points in 10 minutes, going 1-for-2 from the field and from three, and his triple stretched the lead to its high point. In the words of the UMass recap: "A Noa Zemljic 3-pointer gave the Minutemen their largest lead, 69-53." Student outlet Amherst Wire highlighted the same shot. It caps a productive preseason for Zemljić, who was also named in the recap of UMass's win over Rhode Island earlier in October.

Maruan Čičić — UW-Green Bay
Čičić was in the starting lineup on Saturday, October 24, as Green Bay picked up its first preseason win, 79–71 over Missouri Valley Conference side Illinois State at the Kress Center. He contributed 4 points and 5 rebounds in 18 minutes, shooting 2-for-4 from the field, in a balanced win where five Green Bay players reached double figures. It was a strong final tune-up before the regular season opens on November 2.

German Forward Bilal Fye Joins NIL Plus Group (2026)
NIL Plus Group is proud to welcome Bilal Fye, a 6’9” (205 cm) forward from Bremen, Germany, to its family of client athletes. Bilal is one of the most promising prospects of his recruiting class in North German youth basketball, and he has a clear path toward NCAA basketball in 2027 or 2028.
Player profile
- Position: Forward
- Height: 6’9” (205 cm)
- Hometown: Bremen, Germany
- Club: EWE Baskets Oldenburg (NBBL U19), multi-year agreement
- NCAA entry: Class of 2027, with the option of Class of 2028
From Bremen to one of Germany’s top youth programs
Bilal developed under the mentorship of Coach Dejan, president of Basketball Akademie Bremen Süd. Under his guidance, Bilal grew from a young talent into one of the standout prospects in the north of Germany.
His results so far:
- 2024 German JBBL (U16) champion with Oldenburg, part of a title run of 20 straight wins
- Rotation player for Baskets Juniors Oldenburg in the 2025/26 NBBL (U19), reaching the playoff quarterfinals
- Represented Oldenburg in the 2026 Youth Basketball Champions League
- Multiple double-digit scoring games against top NBBL opponents
The next chapter
This summer, Bilal signed a multi-year agreement with EWE Baskets Oldenburg. In the 2026/27 season he will play for the club’s NBBL (U19) team, developing inside one of Germany’s leading youth basketball programs.
Bilal will have the choice to enter the NCAA with the Class of 2027. He will also consider the Class of 2028, which would give him the chance to gain senior basketball experience during the 2027/28 season first.
How Bilal is doing
Bilal earned real minutes in a strong U19 league last season. In 12 NBBL (U19) games for Oldenburg in 2025/26 he averaged 5.2 points and 2.3 rebounds (ScoutBasketball), and in the 2026 Youth Basketball Champions League, one of Europe’s top youth club competitions, he added 4.0 points and 3.3 rebounds per game (FIBA). The 2026/27 NBBL season has just started, and it’s his chance to take on a bigger role.
Why college coaches should watch
Bilal brings high-major athleticism: size, length, explosiveness and a motor that stand out on film. With the development and experience ahead of him, we expect him to become a major NCAA prospect.
Thank you to Coach Dejan and Basketball Akademie Bremen Süd, and to EWE Baskets Oldenburg, for their role in Bilal’s development. Welcome to the family, Bilal!
