A reverse sweep in East Lansing
Indiana dropped the first two sets 19–25 and 15–25, then won the next three 25–15, 25–19 and 15–7 to finish the reverse sweep. Kričković ran the offense all night. Her 44 assists set up 55 Hoosier kills on .277 hitting, and her serving swung the match. Per Indiana’s recap as carried by BVM Sports, her 8 aces set an IU rally-scoring-era record.
She also helped at the net. The Indiana Daily Student noted “another block from sophomore setter Teodora Kričković” during the comeback, part of a 12-block night for Indiana. Avry Tatum led the attack with 15 kills, Jaidyn Jager added 14, and Audrey Jackson had a career-high 16 digs. The win moved Indiana to 13–7 overall and 6–5 in the Big Ten.
How she’s doing
The record night continues a strong start in Bloomington. As a freshman in 2025, Kričković was named an AVCA Honorable Mention All-American, First Team All-Big Ten, to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team and AVCA Midwest Region Freshman of the Year, as Indiana went 25–8 and reached the NCAA Sweet 16 (Indiana Daily Student). In this month’s feature on her, head coach Steve Aird said: “Her aspirations are to set the national team in Serbia, and be an Olympian and play professionally, and she’s on track to do all those things.”
Indiana’s next match is Saturday, October 31, at Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Thank you
